Food Web
In a rain forest food web you have the decomposers such as bacteria and fungi such as mosses. These decomposers have the role of creating producers by aiding them in growing. Then there's the producers that consist of things like banana plants and strangler fig tree. These producers main role is to provide food for the class above them. Above those there is the primary consumer which includes creatures such as the golden lion monkey, the toucan, and grasshoppers to name a few. They eat and feed off of the producers and also provide food for the class above, an example is a grasshopper and a frog. Up next is the secondary consumers containing a variety of frogs and bats. They eat the primary consumers to feed and also provide food for tertiary consumers. Finally there is the tertiary consumers this class contains predators such as pythons and jaguars to name some. These guys are above any thing and eat whatever they want and are rarely prey to anything but themselves.
